This case study dives into our user-centric design journey, illuminating how Yenex is poised to lead the distributed energy revolution.

Several factors prompted the creation of this product:

Harming Our Planet: Usual ways of making energy, like burning oil or coal, are bad for the Earth. They add to climate change.
Wasting Energy: Sometimes, energy from things like solar panels isn’t used and just gets lost.
Feeling Apart: People don’t really see or talk about how much energy they make or use.
Needs Are Different: It’s hard to make an energy system that fits just what you or your company needs.

Challenge

Here are some key challenges to consider when developing such a platform:

Friendly to Earth: We love using clean energy sources like sunshine and small water turbines to keep the Earth happy and healthy.
Sharing Energy: If your solar panels have extra energy, we can send it to the big energy network. This way, you can even make some money!
Bringing People Together: We have a cool place where you can see and share how much energy you and others are making and using. It’s like being part of an energy team!
Just for You: We help you create your very own energy setup that fits exactly what you need and like.

We combined the UX and UI stages in order to convey our vision to the client as best as possible. Plus, the presentation of the concept was designed in an interactive form

Typefaces
that rock

We replaced the main typefaces with more user-friendly ones. Instead of the original Red Hat Text, we chose Bristone, and Outfit that is more common for iOS apps.
