Ways and Villas, in their pursuit of establishing a luxurious online platform for Maldivian travel bookings, collaborated with multiple design agencies. Yet, none managed to truly encapsulate the opulence and sophistication inherent to their brand. Upon discovering Design Monks via Dribbble and being captivated by our top-tier designs, a new challenge emerged
Problem
How can we, in partnership with Ways and Villas, devise a digital experience that perfectly mirrors their brand’s sumptuous tone
Several factors prompted the creation of this product:- Inability to showcase services and destinations
- Credibility and trust issues
- Need to provide luxury feel to the customer
- Efficient solutions for trip planning
- Inability to track analytics
Challenge
Develop a user-friendly and visually appealing website that effectively showcases the travel agency’s services, vacation packages, and featured destinations.
Several factors prompted the creation of this product:- Build credibility and trust by including customer testimonials and reviews on the website
- Integrate web analytics tools like Google Analytics to track website performance, user behavior, and other valuable insights
- Focus on elegant and sophisticated website design that reflects a luxury aesthetic
Workflow scenario
Armed with insights about the client’s pain points, we eagerly began the journey of crafting a distinctive identity for Travel business. To achieve this goal, our designers created a captivating logo, brand icon, and harmonious color palette, carefully selecting typography, personalized images, and attractive containers with icons. These elements were seamlessly mixed together, resulting in a well-structured and eye-catching app for the beauty product users.

To bring all generated ideas to life and ensure that our team works straight toward the common goal, we created a comprehensive and specific scenario of the Carnesia workflow process. After accepting the task from the client, we:

We combined the UX and UI stages in order to convey our vision to the client as best as possible. Plus, the presentation of the concept was designed in an interactive form

that rock
We replaced the main typefaces with ones that are more user-friendly. Instead of the original Red Hat Text we chose Abigeta Display for Heading font and Noto Sans for body text
Rich color mix
Our color collection includes Raspberry Pink, Jasmine Purple, Mint Green, Faded Red, and Snow White. As a final flourish, we settled on Ultramarine Blue, which adds a contemporary touch to the whole palette and evokes a sense of calmness, trustworthiness, and professionalism.

From concept to reality
Our experts made sure to keep the client informed about the progress of the Ways & Villas project by providing three updates per week, which included one team call and two written updates. Additionally, we conducted regular development reviews to ensure that the design and layout closely resembled the approved mockup, being in line with the client’s requirements.
