The CRM platform for Akij Cement revolutionizes the referral system. Specifically tailored for engineers and masons, it provides intuitive tools and instant communication channels. With an aim to streamline campaigns and elevate stakeholder interactions, we’re redefining engagement in the cement industry.

Problem

Users often find it challenging to keep track of the various construction projects they are involved in, leading to confusion, delays, and missed deadlines. This lack of a centralized project management system results in inefficiencies and lost opportunities for timely decision-making

Several factors prompted the creation of this product:

Manual paperwork, delayed communication, and mismanaged resources were common issues.
Clients often lacked transparency into project progress and struggled to make informed decisions about cement products.
There was a need to modernize and streamline these processes for improved efficiency and client satisfaction.

Challenge

One of the primary challenges in creating the Akij Cement App was designing a user-friendly interface that construction professionals, who may not be tech-savvy, could easily navigate. Ensuring that the app provides a seamless experience for data entry, project management, and communication was crucial.

Here are some key challenges to consider when developing such a platform:

Construction project managers often struggle with the time-consuming
Error-prone process of manually collecting and entering data related to cement usage on construction sites.
Extensive user testing and feedback were incorporated to make sure that even those with limited technical expertise could efficiently use the app

Workflow scenario

Using the app’s intuitive interface, the project manager inputs data such as the number of cement bags used, the type of cement, and the specific location of usage. They can also capture images for documentation. The app processes this data and transfers it in real-time to a centralized database. This ensures that the project manager, as well as other stakeholders, can access the most up-to-date information.

Solutions

To address the challenges associated with the seasonal decline in restaurant business during vacation and winter periods in France, the following solutions can be implemented:

We replaced the main typefaces with ones that are more user-friendly. Instead of the original Red Hat Text we chose Poppins that is more common for iOS apps

In the Akij App, we sought inspiration from various real-world apps that excel in specific areas. By analyzing successful apps across different domains, we identified valuable features and concepts that could enhance our app's user experience and drive engagement.

Rich color mix

Our color collection includes Golden Yellow, Dark Jungle Green, Hit Red, Blue, and White. As a final flourish, we settled on a stunning Spot pink accent, which adds a contemporary touch to the whole palette and evokes a sense of calmness, trustworthiness, and professionalism.
