Carnesia is one-stop authentic shop for Makeup, Hair Care, Skin Care, Fragrance, Personal Care, Beauty Tools & Accessories, Oral Care, and Mom & Baby products in Bangladesh. Our objective was to create a funnel that would make a smooth journey for our users, from analyzing skin to purchasing the required products.
Our users will be able to compare all the suggestions and select what’s best for them. Carnesia is a virtual make-up & skin-care application that will help users analyze their skin and recommend the best skin care and products according to it.
Problem
Several factors prompted the creation of this product:
- Lack of diverse functionality that would help users conveniently interact with the platform
- Hard payment process — sometimes, users left the book ordering halfway because it took too much effort and time.
- Conflict between design style and branding concept — users felt slightly confused about this disharmony.

Workflow scenario
Armed with insights about the client’s pain points, we eagerly began the journey of crafting a distinctive identity for skincare business. To achieve this goal, our designers created a captivating logo, memorable brand icon, and harmonious color palette, carefully selecting typography, personalized images, and attractive containers with icons. These elements were seamlessly mixed together, resulting in a well-structured and eye-catching app for the beauty product users.

Carnesia’s style guide and design system is built upon the Atomic Design methodology, which breakdown the design elements into a hierarchy of building blocks.
Sketching
Once our raw content was ready, we started putting all our ideas from paper to pen. We began sketching and visualizing transitions from screen to screen and user interferences.
From concept to reality
Our experts made sure to keep the client informed about the progress of the Carnesia project by providing three updates per week, which included one team call and two written updates. Additionally, we conducted regular development reviews to ensure that the design and layout closely resembled the approved mockup, being in line with the client’s requirements.
